Cross Selling: Asking Questions

Many companies don’t cross-sell. Why is that? The relationships you have already won, are captive and if you’ve delivered for them, then wouldn’t they want more of that success from you?

If you are engaging with the client the right way you are asking a lot of questions, so why not ask questions like these?

‘How are you guys doing when it comes to (insert service or product you sell)?’

‘Do you use this kind of (insert tool or service you sell) to manage this (insert outcome you help companies achieve)?’

Most of the time, the current client is not aware that your company even does ‘this or that’.

The best way to find out if they need you is to ask how they currently do things.. that way you are curious and interested in their success.

Curiosity leads to better outcomes for everyone.
